Family and Early Childhood West

FAEC (Family and Early Childhood) West is a not-for-profit agency that provides in-home support and additional services to children aged 0-8 and their families.

Services

FAEC West provides a range of services, including:  

  • In-home service through the support of Early Childhood Educators 
  • Developmental assessments and appropriate support programs  
  • A Developmental Childcare Program which provides funding assistance for families of children who would benefit from additional support prior to kindergarten 
  • Infant-Parent Attachment programs utilizing a reflective education approach 
  • The Early Years Direct Assessment (EYE-DA) to all children in ASD-W prior to school entry 
  • Follow-up support for children who would benefit from the transition to school interventions 

FAEC West partners with other community programs and can assist parents to connect with helpful and appropriate services for their families.  

Funding is provided by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. FAEC West has offices in Fredericton, Woodstock, and Centreville.
