As students return to classrooms for another school year, Anglophone West School District is incredibly grateful for the continued generosity of the RCMP and our communities through the Cops for Classrooms initiative.

Throughout August, members of the West District RCMP, with support from community partners, collected bookbags, lunchboxes, clothing and other school supplies to help ensure students have the tools they need to begin the year with confidence.

This year, donated supplies are being distributed to 24 schools in communities served by the RCMP across Anglophone West School District.

We are deeply appreciative of the RCMP members, community partners and individuals who contributed to this initiative. Their generosity and continued commitment to our schools and students make a meaningful difference. We are fortunate to have community partners who recognize that supporting students is a shared effort, and we sincerely thank everyone who helped make Cops for Classrooms possible again this year.

To help get the supplies where they were needed, Jessica Copeland and Julie McLaughlin loaded up a school bus and hand-delivered them to several schools throughout the area.
