Cuffman Street Elementary students took part in a fun, multi-faceted, immersive French learning experience on Wednesday, April 2, at the school’s first Fierte Francais, or French Pride, event.
During the event, students participated in lessons about French New Brunswick culture, used French to order snacks served up by French-speaking Leo Hayes High School students, and took part in French-language sing-alongs. The event was made possible by an Enriching and Promoting Bilingualism grant from federal Official Languages in Education funding.
