McAdam Elementary School’s new playground opened on Thursday, Nov. 7 to the delight of the school’s students.

Students enjoyed themselves on new equipment purchased to replace older items, some dating back 40 years. The school mounted a 10-month fundraising drive to fund the $231,104.80 refurbishment.
