When the going got tough in their academic and personal lives, 13 Woodstock-area Anglophone School District West students put forth extra effort to turn things around and fulfill their respective potentials.
And last Wednesday, school district officials, parents, guardians, counsellors, and assorted dignitaries gathered at the Best Western Plus Woodstock Hotel & Conference Centre to honour these students at the annual Turnaround Achievement Awards ceremony. The Turnaround Achievement Awards, sponsored by Craig Manufacturing, honour students who strive to improve their behaviour and academic performance despite significant personal challenges.
All Grade 12 Turnaround Achievement Award recipients are eligible to apply for a scholarship from Craig Manufacturing if they plan to attend community college or university.
Anglophone School District West congratulates these determined young students and wishes them continued success in their lives and academic careers!
